•Lock opening if keys are lost or stolen.

•Rim locks fitted and replaced.
•Mortice locks fitted and replaced
•uPVC door locks and mechanisms
•External buildings, garages, padlocks, etc.

What ever the reasons for changing locks fitted to household doors, in all cases it is important to fit the suitable locks that comply with insurance or other security requirements. Generally wooden external doors on houses should be fitted with mortice or other deadlocks to BS3621:2007. This includes any connecting door between an attached garage and the house. Ask your house insurers for details of any security requirements you need to adopt, they will often have recommendations for window, garage and out building security as well.
